    Description

Very early Anheuser-Busch bottle, which dates to around the early 1900s.  The latest this bottle could date is 1920 due to the mark A.B.G.M CO. on the base.  This particular mark was used between 1893-1905 and 1908-1920.
This bottle is molded and machine-made.  It appears to have a two-piece post-bottom mold. It also has a tooled crown finish, which allowed it to accept bottle caps among other many options.  Being machine-made and having a crown finish puts the earliest date at 1905.
Even though this is a machine-made bottle, they were still susceptible to air bubbles due to the technology not quite being perfected.  This particular bottle has quite a number of larger air bubbles, which was indicative of a bottle made between 1905-1910, as later on technology was more and more refined and in turn lessening the amount of air bubbles.
So, a ballpark date on this Anheuser-Busch beer bottle would be between 1905-1910.  Great piece to see the early days and what the makers of Budweiser have evolved from.  Very rare bottle.
