    Description

    Vintage 8 inch dessert plate made in Prussia. This may look like just another random plate, but the artistry is far from ordinary. The taupe colored border near the edge has a flower etching (under cover) when held in just the right light. I was able to capture it in one photo. The painting of the roses is exceptional, with hints of yellow and ultimate detail. It is marked with the red winged Griffin, so probably considered now as antique. A beautiful piece of art in a small package.
